6 mths - 12 yrs old. PAGEANT IS NOV. 11TH IN DEL RIO, TEXAS. THEME WILL BE AROUND THE WORLD. AREAS OF COMPETITION INCLUDE: OPENING NUMBER REPRESENT A COUNTRY OF YOUR CHOICE, FASHION WEAR (A SALUTE TO ALL VETERANS PATRIOTIC), EVENING GOWN AND PHOTOGENIC.

Del Rio is "HOME" to many great and awesome traditions and endeavors! One of them being the sparkly sport of pageantry. This year marks the 11th Annual Mini Me pageant competition. Yes, you heard it right. Mini Me! Many people ask, why so many pageants and queens and what not. Mini Me's are the reason why so many of our community members, organizations and surrounding areas can be helped as much as we have been able to help. Each event benefits a different charity! Aaahhhh-- I bet you did not know that? Charities and organizations like Val Verde Child Welfare Board, Children's Shelter, Casa del Abuelo, Nursing Homes, Gifts for the Needy, and of coarse Scholarships given to older title holders just to name a few.

On November 11, 2007 the Paul Poag Theater for the Performing Arts will showcase little girls from all over the State of Texas

6 months - 18 months, 19 months - 36 months (1 1/2 - 3 yrs), 4 - 6, 7 - 9 yrs, 10 - 12 yrs as they vie for the title of Mini Me Texas Latina. Gifts for every Contestant, Lots of Special Awards, Fashion Wear, Evening or Party Wear, Photogenic, Optional Talent. Pictures and Entry Form Must be in By October 5^th, 2007. Judging is based on good looks, overall appearance and personality on a scale of 1 - 10. No experience is needed. We will award the Ambassador of Good Will title to the contestant who collects the most canned goods. These will go to the Thanksgiving Baskets we will give away to the needy. Winner receives satin sash, trophy and crown.


Delegate Fundraiser known as Dreams of Crowns will go to the delegate who collects the most “Good Luck Wishes”. Ask your friends and family to donate $1 People's Choice Award is based on a Penny a Vote and will go the contestant with the most votes. This is also optional and all votes must be in by Nov 10^th . In Money Order or Check Only. Winner receives satin sash, trophy and crown.
