Queens and Kings for a Cause created a place where pageant titleholders can find an organization or an event to utilize their crown and title to make a difference in the community and a place where titleholders can get fellow titleholders pageant contestants and non-pageant participants involved with projects to help communities throughout the world. Showing the world that Pageant Queens and contestants are more than just beautiful.....

Every year they work hard to give back to the community supporting projects like; Gifts for the Needy providing over 1,300 toys and over 400 food bags each year, March of Dimes, Thanksgiving Dinner for You, Dress for Success, MDA Fill the Boot, Nursing Home Sock Drive, Kid's Day Fair, American Red Cross, Easter Baskets, Christmas Basket Give Aways, Stuff the Bus, Bootiful Halloween, Adopt a Grand Ma - Grand Pa, La Casa del Abuelo in Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Holiday Make Overs, Queen for a Day just to name a few.

Queens for a Cause is an important and active organization directed by Innermind Connection owners Sammy and Claudia Lopez. Claudia is involved in the San Felipe Amistad Lions, Juneteenth Committee and Loves to work for and with Children, Mentally Challenged individuals, Elderly and Needy. Claudia, has a tender heart and will go to the EXTREME to help those in need. All you have to do is ask. She has involved community service and active, visual work with all her title holders. She believes actions speak louder then words and when asked to help --- one should. Currently we have 3 adopted rooms in the Val Verde Emergency Children's Shelter. We provided all decorations and furnished all rooms and have promised to keep up with them. During Christmas we have a party for the kids, La Casa del Abuelo in Cd Acuna, is The Grandparents Home, it is sponsored by el DIF de Acuna and we have joined forces with them and provide them with food bags, and other needs. We visit local Nursing Homes and adopt Grandparents every Holiday and visit them on a regular basis.

As a young women Claudia visited and volunteered numerous hours at local shelters, Del Rio Nursing Home under the direction of Romie, worked as a provider for the Visiting Nurses for the Elderly, Worked grave yard with Mentally Disabled residents with Normal Life now Educare, 10 years ago Claudia had a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE in Arlington, Texas. She was going to school and was working at the Dallas Apperal Mart. She remembers coming home late, tired and with Kidney Stones (well, the pain). A friend invited her to go eat and all Claudia remembers is going in her Ford Escort, being in the passenger seat, falling asleep and later waking up in the hospital. To make the story short. She had an OBE - Outter Body Experience and saw herself facing death and all the doctors around her bringing her back to life. She clearly remembers the white light, tunnel and Life after Death. Claudia was also told she was suppose to have surgery due to 80 % of her spleen being ruptured. Well, she remembers a male nurse visiting her and telling her she would be just fine. That was her ANGEL - BRAD saving her. She never had surgery, years later Dr. Lindsey removed her gall bladder and did an exploratory without knowing he noticed all the scars and spleen. (You will have to ask Claudia to tell you the REST). This is why my wife does all she does and avoids conflicts, gossip and mean spirited people. She was also told, she would never be able to have kids and Samantha Claudette is a heaven sent baby. Claudia decided to have her naturally, without any pain killers and she did good delivering a 10 lb baby. If you ever want to make her smile, remind her of BRAD her African American Angel. (Now do you know why she is involved and honors and respects Juneteenth so much?)

Claudia adored her late Grandmother Jovita Alvarado, whom she was also named after Claudia Jovita. that is one of the main reasons she is so involved with the elderly. She believes in past lives and karma so much that she knows and accepts anything just as is comes to her.
